Leave the town behind and live a peaceful life in the Italian hills: this is the concept that gave birth to the project called “La finestra sulle Langhe” (A view on the Langhe), as well as the real and tangible choice of a couple from Holland who left the city of Rotterdam for the wonderful landscape of Piedmont, well-known for its breathless views, its rows of grapevine and its good food.
The residential project focuses on the construction of a small house, made of one single unit and covered by bricks, immersed in the green landscape. The structure opens to the Alps thanks to a large window stretching through the whole house, which unwittingly becomes an extraordinary stage for everyday life.
The project of the house, located in Cigliè, in the province of Cuneo, was followed by Studioata, whose aim is constantly matching a serious and professional activity with particular attention to cultural initiatives, which are depicted with curiosity and passion.
Una finestra sulle Langhe is the result of this reckless love for architecture and the stories behind every single project and its implementation.
