Fontanot, the Railing Glass model

Fontanot, a company that is among the world’s leading manufacturers of custom stairs, presents the Railing Glass model, designed to express a very clear concept, “clear essentiality”.

The elegant glass railing of Railing Glass is perfectly adaptable to the LaFont Essential model stairs and can be installed flush to the flooring (Glass In) or with a visible anodised aluminium rail (Glass On).

The transparency and thinness of the glass give the impression that the surrounding area is limitless, and creates a pleasant continuum between environments that seem endless. In fact, connecting spaces, communicating their style and treating furniture pieces as a part of the environment and not as a structural element are the conditions that make the Fontanot products winners.

In addition to being elegant, Railing Glass is also very functional and structurally solid. In fact, an anodised aluminium profile can be applied to the upper edge of the glass, which is laminated and heat-treated to increase its sturdiness and safety. The profile protects against bumping and makes it more resistant to external agents. Moreover, the aluminium masks any imperfections of the PVB or the joining of the stratified glasses (LaFont Essential for the glass).

Railing glass comes in two versions: the Top model in the extra clear colour and the Base in the clear colour. Furthermore, it is possible to choose the LaFont Essential finish with flat polished edge or the LaFont finish with the re-worked edge, consisting of two stratified panels that are flattened together with the plastic after coupling, and thereby resulting to be perfectly aligned.

Because at Fontanot style and practicality are a lasting union.
