Globe and Liuto, Alivar puts its signature on tables that become the protagonists of living area

What are the main advantages of a round table? Listing them all is impossible. Its shape “democratises” conversations among diners, while the absence of angles and sharp corners almost always lets you expand the number of those sitting at the table according to the needs of the moment.

In this context of informal socialising, Alivar’s “round table” is the union of precious materials and clean lines, details that characterise the entire Home Project collection, to which Globe and Liuto belong.

A new product presented at the 2017 edition of the Salone del Mobile, Globe recovers the Italian cabinet-making tradition through the use of wood, used in the structure, which warms and surrounds the natural beauty of the marble chosen to make up the tabletop.

Its sculptural proportions are derived from the inlays and joints, while the oriental inspired rotatable tray, positioned at the centre of the top and designed to allow diners to reach the serving dishes with ease, ensures the functionality.

The exquisite craftsmanship and exclusive details are also expressed in the Liuto table. This table has a minimalist design that enhances the living area with charm since its top is an absolute protagonist and is characterised by the dark burnished colour of the precious Emperador marble.

The Liuto top is also available in the tinted glass, matt lacquered MDF, wood or marble versions. This solution is the right compromise between contemporary style and the flavour of craftsmanship.
