Trullo Otium, the space where time flows slowly

-

The Latin word “otium” represents a lifestyle model that, away from work obligations, embraces walking, reading, meditation, physical exercise, and social and convivial life.

A lifestyle model which is perfectly represented by Trullo Otium, a place nestled in the Apulian countryside where time flows slowly and a small monastery stands nearby.

To evoke past times and traditions, the architects of Studio Sospeso have celebrated the history of the land they live in through the use of materials and forms such as wood, terracotta, local stone, embroidered and woven linen and the repurposing of old furnishings.

Trullo Otium becomes a space where the symbolic-spiritual dimension combines with the functional one to create a sense of well-being.
