The new Deloitte hub in Milan designed by Lombardini22

After having managed the project of the company headquarters in Rome, Lombardini22 rekindles its relationship with Deloitte to design its new headquarters in Milan, via Santa Sofia 28.

The new headquarters, conceived as a hub rather than a traditional office, interpret the needs for flexibility and collaboration that define modern work.

Every space was developed using a model characterised by a high sharing rate: 1,889 workstations with a fluid layout that supports interaction and sociality. The plan also includes areas for teamwork, an auditorium, an underground food court and even a customer area on the fifth floor, with a lounge and catering area.

The identifying element of the campus is the deconsecrated church of San Paolo Converso, dating back to the 16th century, which underwent an accurate outfitting project committed to DEGW, Lombardini22 business unit. While keeping its original decorative structure, this space now hosts events, exhibitions and meetings with clients and it can be accessed from Piazza Sant’Eufemia as well as from a new secondary entrance in the heart of the campus. An interaction between history and function that strengthens the sense of belonging and representativeness of the place.

The main square is the real core of the Deloitte hub, as the workstations and the other operating areas branch off this point. Advanced technologies and ergonomic solutions ensure the highest comfort and functionality; bookable stations, smart lockers and cutting-edge work tools offer a smooth and integrated experience.

Among the spaces dedicated to innovation, the Generative AI Studio (Solaria Space) is a true innovation lab, developed to explore and show the potentialities of the new technologies linked to Artificial Intelligence. Designed to offer an immersive experience to clients, partners and stakeholders, the environment is characterized by a tailor-made project that combine signature architectural elements, light effects and dynamic tones.

The focus on sustainability and quality of the materials used was essential to obtain the LEED Platinum and WELL Gold sustainability certifications. The lighting choices were made together with Allianz, while Lombardini22 dealt with the signage and visual identity of the spaces.

Other distinctive elements of these environments are a high-level acoustic design and the presence of innovative areas, such as studios, mindfulness areas for yoga and Pilates, as well as satellite workspaces for training e meetings.
