Villa Adele: the excellence of Italian design in Dubai by Opera Contemporary

-

Italian craftsmanship is solidified in the international luxury landscape with the Villa Adele project in Dubai, an ultra-luxury property recently honored with the prestigious Arabian Property Awards 2025. Located in one of the Emirate’s most exclusive neighborhoods, this residence is the result of a skillful balance between traditional Italian craftsmanship and the spirit of Middle Eastern hospitality.

The project, conceived and developed by Palazzo Morelli and meticulously sourced by Lato Home, features Opera Contemporary — a brand by Angelo Cappellini specializing in luxury furniture with innovative and modern design — as the key player in furnishing the living area. The concept behind Villa Adele aims to integrate a sophisticated, modern aesthetic with profound classical Italian influences, allowing the generous spaces to seamlessly transform from a peaceful family home to a venue fit for large-scale receptions.

Opera Contemporary excelled in creating custom-made furniture for the living area, demonstrating exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail that embody the essence of Made in Italy.

The heart of the living room is defined by the Cosmo modular L-shaped sofa, customized to the dimensions of 575 x 245 cm. This piece is adorned with an elegant diamond-pattern quilting on the exterior backrest and plush pink velvet seats, supported by custom satin bronze-finished metal feet. From the same Cosmo collection are the fabric armchairs, which feature an abstract pattern in mixed, shaded tones, utilizing natural, warm hues like beige, dusty pink, and sage green, creating a visually rich texture reminiscent of painterly brushstrokes.

Centrally located, the Cyrano Coffee Table captures attention by alternating elegant materials, including Lepanto Red marble and a bronze mirrored surface. This design captures surrounding textures and light, transforming the table into a functional piece of art. The Gabriel coffee tables offer a striking contrast of materials, featuring bases with satin bronze-finished metal legs and tops in exquisite Verde Alpi Rameggiato marble. A distinctive design feature is their cylindrical metal structure, which opens on one side to reveal a hollow interior, adding sculptural appeal.

The refinement continues in the dining area with the Oscar dining table, a round piece with a satin-bronzed metal base. The tabletop is crafted from precious Calacatta Oro marble, complemented by a Lazy Susan in Verde Alpi Rameggiato marble, creating a striking yet harmonious contrast. Enhancing the table are eight Louise chairs, distinguished by their organic-inspired design. Each chair features an ebony-finished structure, a padded grey velvet seat, and a slim, diamond-quilted backrest, refined with a decorative and functional satin bronze-finished metal handle.

Villa Adele stands as a testament to Opera Contemporary’s ability to serve as a reliable partner, adding significant value to the project in both style and execution, and celebrating the excellence of Italian craftsmanship.
