Stoneweg Italy unveils its new headquarters – encompassing an area of 350 sqm – designed by Studio Elementare inside the recently redeveloped Torre della Permanente at Via Filippo Turati 32 in Milan.
The core design philosophy focused on enhancing natural light, which, thanks to the tower’s generous windows, flows freely through the spaces, creating a bright, welcoming, and functional working environment. This emphasis on luminosity is coupled with the choice of natural and sound-absorbing materials, which play a key role in shaping a comfortable atmosphere that prioritizes everyday wellbeing.
This design language is immediately apparent upon entering the reception area. The selected palette and finishes offer a preview of the office’s overall aesthetic, where the reception counter is notably finished with sandblasted Cipollino marble.
Interior spaces are meticulously defined by full height glazed partitions framed in natural oak, ensuring visual continuity and transparency throughout the office. Flexibility is paramount; a movable wall allows for maximum adaptability in the meeting rooms, which can be reconfigured as needed.
At the heart of the layout are the phone booths, which echo the same open design approach. Although open to light, these spaces are acoustically protected thanks to the incorporation of perforated sound-absorbing curtains and panels. These protected areas are ideal for focused work or short calls.
The commitment to comfort extends to the operational areas. Workstations and meeting rooms are furnished with ergonomic, discreet solutions tailored to support daily activities. Acoustic quality is managed not only by the materials but also by suspended ceiling panels, which improve sound absorption while adding a sense of rhythm to the interior landscape.
The entire office features a soft-toned, sound-dampening carpet. The generous break area maintains the gentle aesthetic, furnished with a full-length sofa and soft-touch wooden tables. To meet specific functional needs, custom-made furniture throughout the workspace is realized in flamed natural oak.
The result for Stoneweg Italy is a contemporary workspace designed with elegance, practicality, and an understated aesthetic, perfectly aligned with the demands of the daily modern work environment.
