The new Dallara Academy by Atelier(s) Alfonso Femia

-

The hills of Varano de Melegari, near Parma (Italy), are the evocative background of the new Dallara Academy, designed by Atelier(s) Alfonso Femia to celebrate the story of the famous racing car brand and underline the relationship with the territory at the same time.

The project consists of a volumetric composition where distinct elements and functions are aggregated but in balance with each other and in harmony with the topography of the place, dominated by natural landscape.

Femia uses elementary geometric forms – cones, trapezoids, parallelepipeds and annuluses – to distribute three zones: experiential and educational areas, conference rooms and exhibition spaces.

Finally, the complex is conceived as a place for research, meeting and design, reflecting the excellence of the Italian industry and its inclination for innovation and future.
