Borgo Aratico, Ceramica Cielo furnishes the bathrooms of the farmhouse

-

The old farmhouse Borgo Aratico was built at the end of the 19th century and recently it has been the protagonist of a meticulous restoration that has transformed it into an exclusive luxury hospitality residence located in the heart of the Itria Valley.

In the building, redesigned by Architect Floriana Errico and Engineer Marcello Pellegrini, the contemporary furnishings blend harmoniously with the typical architecture of the Apulian farmhouses of yesteryear: the renovation work has reinterpreted the architecture of the ancient building, maintaining unaltered its original characteristics and connection with the territory thanks to the use of local materials and handcrafted furnishing elements, complimented with original design pieces.

In particular, the collections of Ceramica Cielo Shui and I Catini, the latter designed by the Art Directors Andrea Parisio and Giuseppe Pezzano, fit perfectly within the renovated bathrooms of Borgo Aratico.

In this exceptional setting, the I Catini collection – a project that draws from the past to reinterpret in a contemporary way one of the iconic bathroom furnishings of the early twentieth century – contributes to giving a unique allure to the rooms; on the other hand, excellent synthesis of design and versatility, the Shui collection, designed by Paolo D’Arrigo, stands out for its thinness that best enhances the formal purity and functionality of the product.

Once again, the undisputed protagonist of the collections is the ceramic which becomes an innovative object capable of portraying, through a contemporary language, the beauty of memory.
