Cattelan Italia unveils its new 2025 collection of coffee tables, introducing four brand-new elements designed to be at the center of everyday life: Caesar, Domingo, Adrian Wood, and Sting. The guiding principles that inspired their creation are dual: to define and to welcome – both space and people. These coffee tables are conceived to be the perfect setting for small daily rituals, such as a relaxed coffee break, flipping through a magazine, or diving into a book. The concept of definition lies in their functionality, as they are designed to offer essential extra space and help maintain the sense of order you seek.

Two of the models, Caesar and Domingo, draw inspiration from the fundamental architectural archetype: the column. Caesar is born as a tribute to this element, reinterpreting the idea of functional sculpture through a contemporary lens. Its cylindrical structure, crafted in molded ceramic, is paired with a metal base that gives it both lightness and formal rigor. The artistic influence is evident: the influence of Giorgio De Chirico, the master of metaphysical painting, with his dreamlike atmospheres filled with ephemeral architectures, columns, and mannequin-like figures, gives Caesar a timeless charm.

The horizontal form of Caesar evolves into a vertical structure in the new Domingo coffee table. Essential yet full of inspiration, Domingo speaks through pure, geometric forms. The architectural reference reappears in Domingo’s cylindrical shape, reflecting the columns typical of De Chirico’s works, giving the living space a suspended calm and classical beauty. Made from ceramic, Domingo distinguishes itself through its adaptability to various spaces, functioning both as a standalone piece and as part of a composition with modules of different heights. It is a practical support, perfect as a reading spot or a side table, easily paired with upholstered furniture such as sofas and armchairs—signed by Cattelan Italia.

With Adrian Wood, the focus on minimal design becomes contemporary and welcoming. The coffee table is the result of the fusion of wood and metal, creating an elegant and versatile element. It is defined by clean lines and uniquely soft, irregular shapes. The metal base, made from two rolled and overlapping steel sheets, is perfectly proportioned to the top, creating a visual balance that elevates the room. The wooden top, with its smart interlocking design and contrasting insert, showcases the craftsmanship of Cattelan Italia.

Finally, Sting is appreciated for its lightness and versatility. Sting, equipped with a steel base defined by thin lines, was originally designed with a ceramic Marmi top. It is now also available in the Brushed version—which features a hand-brushed steel base and top. On the compact surface of Sting, elegant design merges with functionality to offer extra space for magazines, mugs, or devices. For those looking for more generous dimensions, the collection is rounded out by larger versions: Sting XL with a ceramic top (Keramik), Sting XL Wood, and Sting Wood. Lightweight and practical, Sting is perfect for social moments.
Each model in this new coffee table collection adapts to every type of space, becoming a truly essential element in the contemporary living room—inviting moments of relaxation and connection.
