The Greta Lounge armchair is inspired by the theme of contrast. Its dynamic aesthetic comes from the interplay of contrasts between solid and empty spaces, metal surfaces, and soft padding. The seat is separated from a soft cushion that blends the backrest and armrests into a single, padded form. The shaped backrest, ending in upholstered armrests, offers both comfort and support. A distinctive feature is the three-legged base, crafted from elliptical metal tubing, which features a split rear leg that creates a distinctive vertical line and adds a sense of lightness to the silhouette. The Greta family also includes a padded armchair and a kitchen stool with armrests.
Alongside Greta, there is Ruby Lounge, designed by Castello Lagravinese Studio for Cattelan Italia. This model is characterized by its ergonomic design and clean lines. The structure features a wooden frame, selected for its high quality and durability over time. Ruby Lounge takes inspiration from Scandinavian design, visible in its pure lines and the use of natural materials, making it perfect for both residential settings and lounge areas.
