In a world increasingly oriented toward technology and minimalism, furniture accessories become bridges between past and present, objects capable of telling stories and evoking emotions. Fantin‘s new collections, Hug and Wave, demonstrate how traditional elements such as hangers and bookends can be reinterpreted in a modern key, giving personality and soul to living spaces.
The Hug collection: an embrace of design
Designed by Giulio Iacchetti, the Hug collection focuses on the intersection as a structural element and generator of a new language. The hangers, both wall-mounted and floor-standing, are distinguished by large metal discs and the possibility of customization with Fantin’s extensive color palette. The designer describes these objects as “silent servants and objects of memory,” reinterpreted in a contemporary, more pop and carefree key. The floor-standing coat rack, in particular, is an example of simplicity and power, with three vertical elements that come together in a horizontal embrace, demonstrating great functionality.
The Wave collection: the poetry of bent sheet metal
In Wave, bent sheet metal becomes the protagonist, transforming itself into a poetic object. This collection, designed by ruga.perissinotto, introduces a new stylistic alphabet made of soft fittings and calibrated dimensions. The bookends and wall shelves, with magnetic hooking, are the expression of this language, microarchitectures with which to interact and personalize spaces. The bookends, available with edge or wave, allow you to play with the arrangement of books, emphasizing or concealing the spines, according to personal interpretation.
Materials and sustainability
All elements of the collections can be produced in all 35 finishes of Fantin’s color palette, obtained with non-toxic powder coatings. Fantin thus demonstrates a strong commitment to sustainability, using 100% recyclable materials such as metal and glass, with a short supply chain and state-of-the-art production technologies. The company also adopts an internal recycling system in painting to reduce color consumption.
