iGuzzini presents Allure: the technical details become decorative features

-

You can define Allure in many ways: a perfect grid of composition, a simple geometry in two sizes, a deliberate choice of a neutral aesthetic inspired by basic architectural elements and principles of parametric design.

Presented by iGuzzini, Allure is a wall lamp for outdoor space in which the design prioritises technical details, which are converted into decorative features. The profile of the optical compartment is recessed and comes in three different versions with just as many levels of decoration. This enables Allure to be used in both public spaces and residential environments.

The design begins with a basic, monochromatic rectangular shape that is flush with the optical casing. A more stylish raster can be added to this element to create a subtle curve along a linear axis, which adds a small decorative touch to Allure and increases its ornamental value.

The third formal step in the design process involves colour and composition. The outer body is available in five different colours (white, black, green, grey, rust), which can be mixed and matched to the glossy rasters in the lead, urban bronze, copper and sand-coloured profile. A PMMA unit adds a further decorative layer that restores the richness, transparency and precious quality of glass. Depending on the colour scheme and composition, Allure can either blend discreetly into the space or stand out as a colourful decorative element.

As with the entire Living Vibes collection, the design is the focal point. In the case of Allure, a recessed optic was chosen, which is unusual for outdoor applications. It comes with an asymmetrical light emission developed by iGuzzini that delivers soft, glare-free light. Up and down emissions are also available to customize your environment.
