The design, inspired by the balance between form and function, is expressed through a metal profile on which rest soft padded rollers. The light and slender armrests blend with the structure. Incipit
Incipit, designed by Althea Prati again, is a collection of armchairs that was born as an ode to the harmony between form and movement. The heart of Incipit is its sculptural silhouette, which is revealed in a game of distinct modules: four fragments that come together to tell a story of elegance and dynamism. The open seat gives an unexpected, almost ethereal lightness, while maintaining the solidity of a strong frame. Each element merges with the others, creating a visual dance that balances the strength of the material with the gentleness of the shapes.
The backrest, the beating heart of the collection, is a journey through different heights that are elegantly expressed in the executive, conference and tub versions. The design starts from a simple and deep idea: a sculpted basin that extends over the sides, embracing the backrest like a protective gesture. The first module, open at the base, gives bounce to the whole, giving the impression that the armchair is about to rise, pushed by the force of a movement that defies gravity. The backrest delicately interrupts this continuum, creating a vision that is renewed in each of its versions.

Designed by Umberto Asnago, Caiman is an armchair that molds to the person, like a second skin.
