Adrenalina is a brand of Domingo Salotti, born in 1999 with the desire to conceive eclectic and innovative designs for upholstered furniture for commercial and residential use, reinterpreting armchairs, sofas and modular padded seating furniture as iconic and sculptural elements that, although stunning, are always extremely comfortable.
To create seating collections capable of breaking the mold and celebrate its twentieth anniversary, in 2019 Adrenalina works together with two emerging and very talented designers with international renown: Daria Zinovatnaya and Luca Alessandrini.
Zinovatnaya is a young Russian interior and furniture designer (she comes from St Petersburg) with a style that focuses on the relationship between colour and geometry; for Adrenalina she designed two series and a lamp: Roche, with its round and welcoming shape, and Mercury, which sports a bolder look.
On the other hand, Alessandrini, a very eclectic Italian designer with an international background (London’s Royal College of Art and Imperial College), is constantly looking for new eco-friendly materials: Bixib is the project that bears his signature, a series of armchairs and sofas made with an innovative silk and organic resin composite.
In addition, on the occasion of Salone del Mobile 2019, Adrenalina presented LOST IN SPACE collection, inspired by the 50th anniversary of the first Moon landing - Apollo 11 on July 20, 1969: in fact, space is a dimension that has been mentioned to describe Adrenalina upholstered furniture since its debut for the experimental and futuristic spirit of the brand.
Adrenalina new upholstered collection - LOST IN SPACE - therefore adopted the Space theme and each of the designers who signed this year’s series - Roberto Giacomucci, Giovanni Tommaso Garattoni and Andrea Stramigioli alongside Luca Alessandrini and Daria Zinovatnaya - “adopted” a planet and let Venus, Jupiter, Uranus, Mars and Earth guide them when defining colours and details.
A really “interstellar” proposal.
