Brooklyn, Amura seats take inspiration from the Big Apple

-

Brooklyn, one of the most iconic neighbourhoods of New York, a hotpot of trends, springing from diverse styles, in the main source of inspiration for Stefano Bigi, who designed new Amura furniture collection, precisely called Brooklyn.

It is a system of modular sofas and ottomans with a strong personality born out of the meeting between extremely innovative materials in the upholstery world and retro lines that hint at the seats of old cinemas and Off-Broadway theatres.

The structure lays on a lacquered aluminium subframe that features slender legs, living it an elegant lightness; the cuoio frames are then of great impact, both on the side and back of the sofa, with their lightly rounded shapes housing the cushions in leather or fabric, themselves extremely soft, enveloping.

The result is a seating system devoted to comfort and emotional design, capable of evoking the unique atmosphere of the Big Apple.
