Clan Milano at Salone del Mobile.Milano Shanghai, the new contemporary luxury makes its debut

-

Clan Milano‘s unique appeal, representative of Made in Italy design excellence, debuts at Salone del Mobile Milano. Shanghai 2018, which will take place from 22 to 24 November at the SEC – Shanghai Exhibition Center in the heart of the Chinese megalopolis.

For the occasion, the irreverent stylistic flair of the Brianza-based brand led by the CEO Marco Agostoni and the art director Alessandro La Spada proposes a double exhibition where unique high value-added products blend, skilfully mixed in evocative ambiances.

The leitmotiv of a one-of-a-kind dining area is the Mimetica Smoke finish – the result of a particular veneer technique that evokes the charm of marble veins – used in the Lobby table with round top and in the Officina cabinet, characterized by details from the world of workshops: handles, bolts, and wheels are embellished by polished steel in the pink gold finish.

The enveloping lines of the Sombrero armchair extend upwards in the form of a dome, guaranteeing comfort and privacy, while the Bubble chandelier enhances contemporary environments with soft lighting and a touch of modern design, elegant and completely unexpected: the six spheres of decorated glass lay on a geometric metal structure that almost disappears from the view.

In addition, the Loose mirror boasts a minimal brass tubular structure where is positioned a rotating panel that allows the relocation in infinite ways.

The second proposal is a relax corner where different furnishing solutions coexist: these include the Pipe collection with its tubular structure, available in the chaise longue and side table versions; two elegant Walley chandeliers that illuminate the space, evoking the refined aesthetic canons of the 50s through rigorous elliptical tubular frames; the Bullet cabinet, with its rounded shapes and lacquered wood structure and metal knobs.

In the sign of ideal continuity, the iconic floor lamp Nara is present in the two spaces: the tubular metal structure ends in a base in cast brass with a deer sculpture and the light coming from the LED at the top illuminates the surrounding environment, ensuring high brightness.

Marco Agostoni, CEO of Clan Milano, explains:

The artisanal and design features of Made in Italy furniture industry continue to generate huge interest in the Chinese market, one of the most dynamic on a local and global level. Our solid expertise in wood craftsmanship allows our company to meet the expectations of individuals and fulfill large orders related to contract and hospitality projects. The Salone del Mobile. Milano Shanghai is the ideal opportunity to create new synergies and meet the Chinese public in person“.
