An edition full of surprises and novelties: Chairs & More celebrates the Salone del Mobile 2019 with the launch of two new collections called Dogo and Flora that have been presented in a new location at Stand E15, Pavilion 12 of the fair.
Dogo, designed by Roberto Paoli, is the new essential collection of rigid polyurethane stacking chairs: their lean, minimal design gives them an agile aspect, but their slender silhouette conceals great strength; in addition, a detail that catches the eye is the way the slender legs are directly fastened to the shell, giving the impression that the seat is somehow suspended in space.
Available with or without armrests, Doge comes in four stylish hues: Living Coral, which is Pantone’s 2019 colour of the year, blue, anthracite grey and white.
On the other hand, Flora comes from the collaboration with Studio Pastina (that gave life last year to the Chips collection): it is a compact, snug little armchair composed of a polyurethane seat upholstered in fire-retardant material nestled inside a metal tubing frame; rounded edges mellow the rigour of the sleek, clear-cut volumes, resulting in a trim but cosy armchair.
This is a dynamic creation whose most striking feature is the three-dimensional harmony of its lines. An original, interesting design from every point of view.
Other important novelties concern Moyo, the collections created by Antonio De Marco andSimone Fanciullacci: a new version is now available, with nautical sailing rope creating a stylish statement and the rope wrapped around the metal frame is weaved in a fan-shaped pattern to form a comfortable and durable seat and back.
