HostMilano 2019, the newest products by Colos for Ho.Re.Ca sector

At the latest edition of HostMilano 2019, the leading international restaurant and hospitality industry trade fair, Colos presented the newest products that were officially added to the company catalogue after the Salone del Mobile.

Among Colos’ most significant innovations showcased at HostMilano is the chair/stool duet TORRE by Alban Le Henry, made entirely of recycled polypropylene and inspired by the classic Parisian bistro chair: it’s space-conscious size, which makes it stackable in a perfectly vertical line, means that it’s easier to optimize the available spaces; its harmonious design mixes primitive geometries (such as the circle) with more elaborate shapes, such as the series of curves that form the structural supports and the back and the result is a decidedly versatile chair that can be customized with a special indoor/outdoor cushion that is available in a broad range of colors.

The Torre seating is accompanied by Alfiere, the latest offer for restaurant tables, also designed by Le Henry: the table is composed of a cast iron base for excellent stability and a tubular metal central support, available in two heights.

The exhibition continues with Pigreco, a stool inspired by the Greek letter PI and designed by Francesco Meda; the high stool which expands the range of the catalog’s Piazza and Villa collections by Jun Yasumoto; and finally VU, the tables by Jeremiah Ferrarese, which take their name from the characteristic shape of their frames: in the square- or round-topped versions, the four legs are arranged on the diagonal, allowing for the use of tops up to 130cm. In the rectangular version, the easel-style legs are attached to a unique connector—which holds the two supports upon which the top rests—that can be adjusted when desired.

Roberto Cerantola, CEO of Colos, said: “We research every product with the goal of meeting the requirements of functionality, convenience, and space-optimization for the typical modern restaurant. Our furniture stands out in the international market for hospitality furnishings because we offer Made in Italy values—quality, design, and sustainability—at highly competitive prices.”
