Magenta, the elegance of the old Milan in the new Alma Design collection
The elegance of the interiors of the historic residences in Porta Magenta in the heart of Milan, the charming atmosphere of the Italian city in the Fifties: this was the inspiration for the architect Marco Piva, who has recently designed the new dining and living collection by Alma Design and called it Magenta.
Magenta features the union of precious materials declined in an extreme cleanliness in lines, and the furniture and the accessories are characterised by unusual combinations: metal in different finishes, glass, wood, decorated fabrics and precious velvets express a new way of thinking and live the places of conviviality.
Dedicated to the spaces of contemporary contract but also to the residential interior, the collection is marked by sartorial quality, while attention to detail and proportions is expressed through the great refinement of the workmanship.
In addition, Magenta means also color, an intense, decisive color, capable of emphasizing the material, an element with a strong decorative and emotional value, such as to define the atmosphere of the living or dining area that welcomes the furniture: tables, chairs, sofas and armchairs, which reveal, in fact, a perfect balance between comfort and design.
