Founded in 1962 in Caorso, near to Piacenza, SAIB is one of the leading Italian companies producing raw boards and melamine-faced chipboard panels (MCF), thanks to the Rewood process, which has zero impact on Nature and makes SAIB recover 500.000 tonnes of wood every year from selective collection by municipal utilities.
In particular, tactile and material surfaces characterise the decorative mood of Grace Star, one of the many new proposals that SAIB has inserted in its vast catalogue of melamine-faced chipboards panels: inspired on the natural grain of cherrywood with its fluid and unique lines, the surface is embellished by gently contrasting shades with light perlescent effects.
With its rain finish, Grace Star interprets the aesthetics of that “classic” essence which the brand has always used to create furniture and interior accessories; like all SAIB products, it is the result of a sustainable production process based on the recovery and reuse of end-of-life wood.
This constitutes a new frontier for furniture manufacturers and interior designers who wish to enhance the value of their work by protecting the environment and adhering to the principles of circular economy; in addition, SAIB’s collection of melamine-faced chipboards is composed by standard panels (MFC), anti-bacterial panels, synchronised pore panels and postformable panels.
Another example of Italian quality based on real sustainability.
