In 2019 the Zucchetti. Kos Group, an international leader in Italian bathroom design, is celebrating ninety successful years with two important new initiatives: the launch of its new WaterWords.19 catalogue and the inauguration of its renovated showroom at Porta Romana in Milan.

The new edition of the WaterWords catalogue is a story in pictures, art-directed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, that unveils the Zucchetti universe: captivating, eclectic, and extremely functional; it features the company’s most recent new products – the WaterCandy handshower and the Nude, Closer, and Brim mixers’ collections – along with its bestsellers and its most well-known collections, all created in collaboration with world-famous designers; each product is presented in a setting of intimate everyday life where the users become the absolute protagonists of their personal wellness, as they enjoy the beneficial sensations generated by water.

Thus, Zucchetti describes its idea of what a bathroom should be: always in tune with the times, beautiful in appearance, and practical in everyday use.

On the other hand, the restyling plan of the Milan exhibition space is part of this continuous updating process: also designed by the architects Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, the new interior reorganises the space in a completely new way that gives architects and interior designers a zone where they can study the Zucchetti. Kos collections from close up, discover the infinite ways of configuring them, and develop tailor made solutions that suit their particular design needs.

Thanks to the flexible layout, and a simplified sequence of spaces that can be reorganised depending on requirements, the showroom is intended to represent a journey through experiences of wellness and harmony and to become, even more than before, a place where professionals and clients can meet and exchange ideas.

Beginning from five display windows that all have the same scenic backdrop in powder-pink shades, the products are exhibited in a clear and simple way based on an incisive, sophisticated visual communication strategy in which the most recent innovations – such as the WaterCandy handshower – stand out alongside timeless icons that have won prestigious international awards – such as the Lab03 washbasin or the Morphing bathtub.

Moreover, in a more technical section, the details and materials of the products can be analysed from close up, including a wall-mounted display that can be consulted as a kind of gallery summarising the ways in which Zucchetti tapware provides responses to the most varied needs.

Yet again, Zucchetti. Kos are demonstrating their outstanding ability to offer new interpretations of bathroom design that are ideal for the domestic, contract and hospitality segments: the aim is to invite the users into a world where their emotions and senses come to the fore thanks to the beneficial energy of water, in perfect Zucchetti.
