Windfall, crystalline geometries for jewels of light

Crystal is the undisputed king of the new collections of lamps and chandeliers presented by Windfall at the latest edition of Salone del Mobile.Milano to celebrate the company’s 15th anniversary: a bright and bespoke crystal, flooded with light from above or through the latest generation of LED lighting with warm, discreet and effective light.

Crystal is more special than ever, in the collection presented at Euroluce, thanks to the size of the individual elements, created exclusively for Windfall, and to the solutions that the elements form, being used creatively by Clarissa Dorn and Roel Haagmans: or this 2019 collection, inspired by Art Deco aesthetics, they chose to reduce the ornaments to the pure essence of geometry, as it has a strong decorative potential.

The chandeliers and wall lamps in the new Downtown collection are almost reminiscent of Bauhaus geometries, thanks to the special large prisms created specifically for Windfall: alternating in and gathered around an illuminated core.

In addition, in the new Downtown Elements chadeliers the alternation of rectangular and square prisms is highlighted by the more rarefied composition: each element, similar to a necklace creates different light reflections from the one next to it.

The Boule LED chandeliers Crystal are characterised by crystal beads of exceptional size, created exclusively for the German company. Mounted at staggered heights on canopy structures placed side by side in free compositions, they create amazing light rains.

The very same pearls are used in pairs for the Boule Wall Light wall lamps, in which the preciousness of the crystal contrasts with the elegant linearity of the support that fixes them to the wall, achievable in different finishes, like all the structures of the collection presented in Milan.

Windfall has developed special techniques for assembling the crystal elements: these techniques, which are their trademark, allow maximum compositional freedom, offering lighting solutions that can enhance any type of space and furnishing style thanks to authentic "jewels of light".
