On the occasion of Cersaie 2025, Damast, an Italian company specialized in the shower world and a pioneer of the #doccetteria concept, unveils its latest masterpiece: PUNTOEVIRGOLA. This project is not just a new product, but a true Manifesto that celebrates the company’s 25 years of activity, merging function, style, and identity into a completely reinvented shower experience.
At the heart of PUNTOEVIRGOLA lies a bold and provocative idea: transforming the traditional hand shower into an overhead shower. Long a symbol of Damast’s approach, the hand shower now acquires a new dimension and authority, elevating itself to a sculptural, independent, and central element in the bathroom space.
PUNTOEVIRGOLA presents itself as a 39 cm long tubular stainless steel body, inclined at about 45°, that emerges directly from the wall. Its elongated lines – clearly inspired by the silhouette of a hand shower – have been amplified to triple the volume, creating a functional yet surprising and highly impactful visual object. It ends in a 25 cm diameter shower head. Water flows from anti-limescale nozzles, offering an intense yet gentle, enveloping and rejuvenating rain effect.
As Giuseppe Reale, Marketing and Sales Director at Damast, explains, the name “PUNTOEVIRGOLA” is no coincidence. It symbolizes a moment of reflection and corporate relaunch, a punctuation mark that “is not a full stop, but an invitation to continue writing, to tell new stories and convey new meanings“.
PUNTOEVIRGOLA is conceived as a truly autonomous system, positioned approximately 185 cm from the floor. It is completed by a 40 cm built-in mixer body that houses intuitive controls, including the water flow handle and diverter. The system also includes a single-jet hand shower with anti-twist hose, equipped with a practical magnetic support. This hand shower is available in three finishes: chrome, anthracite, and burgundy. PUNTOEVIRGOLA itself is offered in two versions: chrome and black stainless steel.
Over 25 years, Damast has maintained its consistency, investing in products and research, giving rise to the new category of “doccetteria”. PUNTOEVIRGOLA is the perfect synthesis of this journey, representing the essence of 25 years of consistency, innovation, and strictly Italian design.
