Hospitality Mood, the Italian company specialised in the development of new hotel concepts, rebranding and pre-opening activities, recently completed the restoration of the formerly abandoned Hotel Sixty in the seaside town of Riccione (Italy) to create The Box.
The Box is an eclectic project designed by the architects Marianna Chiaraluce and Alfredo Monetti, who focused on their way of travelling, living experiences and discovering the uniqueness of places but also on what people really need when they are far from home: comfort, beauty and human connections.
Consequently, the spacious public areas and the 40 guestrooms of the hotel are characterised by a global mix of furnishings: from the brass handmade lamps –of Lebanese lighting company PSLab – to bedside tables from Moroso, and seating from Knoll and Poland’s 366 Concept, international design cooperation is fully on display.
In addition, a focal point of the project is the restaurant & cocktail bar on the ground floor MAD Meet And Drink, where hotel guests and locals alike are encouraged to start the day brunching and meeting for a cocktail or a dinner or for a ping pong match.
Another opportunity to enjoy the Italian summer.
