Starting from its headquarters in Nova Milanese, with 60 years of history and over 20 years of active internationalization, Albed now adds a new and important milestone to its global commercial strategy: following the opening of flagship stores in Moscow and Seoul, the brand specializing in interior doors and partition walls has arrived in Manila, Philippines.
Albed opened the showroom with the support of the distributor Modularity Home. The space, shared with the partners Pianca and Valcucine, spans approximately 400 square meters inside one of the towers in the downtown financial district and offers an exhibition route of Albed’s collections and extensive catalog of finishes.
Albed has seen significant export growth in recent decades, now accounting for 70% of its total production volume. CEO Andrea Delmonte says: “We are aiming to open an increasingly widespread network of Albed-branded showrooms. In the Philippines, we had the opportunity to create a synergistic hub of Made in Italy with two great companies, and together we offer a turnkey service for new residential developments in the Southeast Asian area.”
Manila, a metropolis of nearly 2 million inhabitants, is experiencing a phase of strong urban development, with the expansion of the business area and the construction of mixed-use buildings where penthouses and luxury apartments stand alongside hospitality spaces and retail activities. It’s a bustling market, “where we are registering an increasingly high demand, as a result of our ability to create fully customized systems, both in terms of frame and door panel,” adds Andrea Delmonte.
The recent opening will thus lead to the consolidation and growth of Albed in the Far East region, where specific communication channels, such as WeChat and Weibo, are active. Albed’s expansion plans extend from the Far East to Europe, with a recent presence in Rome, and ultimately to the United States, where Albed aims to open a new flagship store in the near future.
