Amura, the best of Italian furniture

-

Starting from the charm that the territory of Altamura, Matera and Murge evokes for anyone who lives or visits there, Amura has expressed, through his collections of upholstery and furniture, the ultimate synthesis of past and present, tradition and innovation, cultural heritage and new technologies, synonym of Made in Italy quality all over the world.

At the latest Salone del Mobile in Milan Amura presented a selection of its interior collections, introducing a complete system for the living room: dining tables, coffee tables and consoles, together with bookcases, sideboard and cupboards, armchairs; furniture characterised by the use of materials of excellence, masterly combined, and a design that blends form and function, able to take everywhere in the world the warmth of the  Mediterranean atmospheres.

In particular, the sofas and armchairs collection Lapis is enriched in 2019 by a new element, the bed, inspired like the rest of the collection by the geometries and joints of the stones on the ancient Roman roads: characterised by a strong materic component, the bed proposes again in its structure the juxtaposition of different volumes, emphasized by the coverage in leather or fabric and by the enveloping, relaxing nuances.

In addition, the Brooklyn collection by Stefano Bigi introduced at the Salone del Mobile the new armchair, that adds up to the existing sytem of modular sofas and ottomans: elegant and with a strong personality, the collection is the offspring of the encounter between innovative materials and vintage lines, evoking the chairs of the old Off-Broadway theatres; aluminium frame for the structure and cuoio shells, where soft upholstered cushions are lodged, covered in fabric or leather, are the essence of a seating system of enveloping shapes, designed for the comfort of the user.

A celebration of beauty and creativity, an authentic expression of Italian style.
