For the third year in a row, Barovier&Toso has chosen the Salone in Shanghai to present its most beautiful collections to the oriental market: the elegance, quality and luxury Made in Italy have always been typical of the spellbinding chandeliers made in Murano glass that have won the hearts of Chinese consumers now looking for more exclusive, bespoke experiences.
At the CH12 stand in the Shanghai Exhibition Centre, Barovier&Toso presents a selection of timeless bestsellers and new creations, vivid examples of the design freedom that sets the brand apart in terms of forms, colours and compositional options; every product has been selected to generate a refined, elegant atmosphere, including the Rosati, Amsterdam, Izmir and Quadri chandeliers, in their versions offering 12, 8 or 6 lights.
Hanami is a lamp with great theatrical impact, a ceiling composition composed of parts in blown glass with irregular surfaces that delicately descend from on high, forming a cloud of sparkling reflections: some of the parts in opaque glass conceal an LED source that produces soft, suffused light; others, transparent and coloured, speak of all the magical lightness of Murano glass.
The table lamps include Camparino – an object of compact size in which the historic rostrato technique meets technological innovation, thanks to a sensor that permits on-off control and light adjustment with just the wave of a hand; also on view: the Saint Germain, Amsterdam and Rive Gauche models.
In addition, on the occasion of the Salone, the company also inaugurates a new exhibition space at Shanghai Artsylight Co. showroom in the Minhang District: a 180 square meters area, conceived to showcase some of the most beautiful chandeliers, in an exclusive path to discover Murano glass crafting tradition.
Finally, the two initiatives are part of a wider-ranging operation of rebranding that involves all the aspects of communication of Barovier&Toso, updated with the goal of expanding the recognition of the brand, while conveying the basic values that have set the company apart since 1295.
This is a path of continuing growth that underlines the spirit of innovation that is part of the company’s DNA: a combination of modernity and tradition, design and craftsmanship across seven centuries, leading to endless success.
