From April 7 to 13, in via Borgonuovo 5, in Brera Design District, Portuguese natural stone becomes a protagonist of Fuorisalone with “Dialogues”, the first edition of Broot Collection curated and produced by OLIVAH which arises/emerges from the dialogue between designers, artists and architects.
Although it consists of 25 pieces from individual collections made of traditional materials and following contemporary artistic visions, only five will be present at Milano Design Week: Schist & Acacia by Studio Anansi, Granite & Burel by Studio Olivah, Limestone & Clay by Vítor Reis Cerâmica, Marble & Cork by JMM Design Studio, and Basalt & Wicker by Estúdio Eneida Lombe Tavares.

Promoted and coordinated by ASSIMAGRA, with Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) financing in the context of the Sustainable Stone by Portugal Green Agenda, Broot is a project aimed at enhancing the strong heritage of Portuguese natural stone and boost the industry of the country, through a collection of original design pieces.
Starting from a dialogue with various other materials that grow out of the earth, coming from various regions of the country, Broot stands out for its experimental approach. Essentially, it functions as a laboratory of innovation and creativity that fosters new partnerships and collections of original and refined design pieces.
More than amplifying the recognition of the quality of national stone, from Portugal to the World, the “Dialogues” Collection invites the discovery of Portugal’s stories and traditions through unique pieces that, after this event, will continue to be present at international exhibitions such as NYCxDesign, and Expo Osaka.
