Sustainable mobility, aggregation, urban service and technology: starting from these values, the smart station E-LOUNGE, designed by Antonio Lanzillo and Partners and produced by Repower, a leading company in the energy industry and eco-friendly mobility, won the XXVI ADI Compasso D’Oro award.
Proposing a vision of an intelligent and sustainable community, E-LOUNGE is a multifunctional design object that provides citizens with useful services such as wi-fi connection, the rack for parking bicycles, and the power sockets for the charging of electronic devices, and electric mobility devices such as e-bikes, scooters, and hoverboards.
E-LOUNGE was born as a bench where you can relax, meet friends or work on the outside, promoting at the same time a new idea of sustainable mobility that goes at the same speed with the new habits of citizens.
“The achievement of this international recognition, the most important in the world of design, is a goal we have been chasing for a long time” declares Antonio Lanzillo. “Designing E-LOUNGE was a challenge that we got with passion and in which we have invested commitment and creativity. The result is an urban object with a high aesthetic and functional value, which interacts with the current needs of the new generations, supports the habits of a society on the move, and promotes green mobility. E-LOUNGE best represents our style and our potential in the design field, but above all clearly shows our sustainable philosophy.”
This year, the Compasso d’Oro is now becoming a reality for a young Milanese multidisciplinary design studio that has already won several awards and is the author of collaboration with leading companies, including Indesit, Cucine Lube, Technogym, Fontana Arte and Elica.
