Jack-e Intreccio is the novel version of Bolzan’s Jack-e collection, designed by Zanellato/Bortotto to enrich the essential design of the structure with a headboard and footboard crafted in woven Havana paper cord.
The headboard and footboard become highly decorative elements; the weave of the intertwining cords punctuates an alternation of solids and voids that creates a striking transparency effect. The weaving is done manually by a local artisanal entity specialized in producing woven elements.
In fact, the collection fits into Bolzan’s longstanding sustainability path, which is embodied in its design approach, thus becoming a testimony to a virtuous world where dedication to the territory, beauty, and respect for the environment converge into a single aspiration to do well.
