The DecorFlou Stripes glass by OmniDecor was chosen for the bathroom areas of the rooms and the spa of the prestigious Hotel La Palma, the first Italian Masterpiece Hotel in the Oetker Collection, situated in the heart of Capri.
Built in 1822, Hotel La Palma reopens its doors in 2023 after a major two-and-a-half year renovation, boasting 50 rooms, including 18 suites, each complete with a private balcony or terrace, a spa, three restaurants, a pool and the Da Gioia by La Palma beach club in Marina Piccola.
The interior design project of the hotel was left to the capable hands of designer Francis Sultana, who wanted to keep the spaces open and bright, thanks to the skilful use of glass and the choice of colours, thus capturing the distinctive lightness and minimalism of Capri, with a touch of inspiration and originality borrowed from the atmosphere of the 50s.
The choice of OmniDecor glass was instrumental in achieving this vision, highlighting the crucial importance of materials in defining the ambiance.
Owing to its ability to filter light discreetly through alternating overlapping satin finish and transparent stripes, DecorFlou Stripes is particularly suitable for creating visual sections between rooms, leaving the passage of light untouched.
The combination of stripes on both sides of the pane gives the glass a matt look that is essential for privacy without compromising the brightness of the room. This allows the natural light to shine through ensuring the necessary privacy and transforming the bathroom into a place for relaxation and well-being, perfectly in keeping with the exclusiveness and elegance of the oldest hotel in Capri.
