Phil, a new kitchen experience en plein air

-

A kitchen with smart “poise”, unconventional design and nomadic configuration: this is Phil, the new Ethimo’s solution for outdoor cooking to create increasingly more complete, comfortable open-air spaces.

Designed in collaboration with Gordon Guillaumier, with its elegant yet informal look, Phil is the result of careful reflection on outdoor living: whether it be a portico, patio, terrace, poolside or city balcony, this unusual element makes any setting, however small, easy to use and allows the kitchen area to be managed simply, functionally and quickly.

Thanks to its sizes and technical features, Phil squeezes all the main kitchen activities into a small ergonomic space, ensuring maximum functionality. Its constructive equilibria, like stability and sturdiness, are highlighted by its “soft” unconventional design.

98 cm in height and 75 cm in diameter, Phil is made up of a single cylindrical base in metal in the colours Olive Green and Sepia Black. With refined teak details, it comes in three possible configurations: with sink, induction hob and barbecue. These “round islands” can co-exist with their different functions, creating circular movement and activities, or be used on their own.

The sink, complete with a handy work surface/top in teak, is fitted with fixed feet, while the two cooking options have cables and are available on wheels, meaning they can easily be moved to where they are needed, emphasising the dynamic versatile character of this project.

With Phil, Ethimo and Gordon Guillaumier provide a new kitchen experience, creating a concept that is the natural choice for completing open-air spaces.
