Artisanship meets design innovation in Vito Nesta’s latest wallpaper collection, designed to be part of the Doppia Firma project and inspired by Italian architect Piero Portaluppi’s Villa Mozart in Milan.
The collection, called Villa Mozart Wallpaper, is handmade and has been painted by the artisans of San Patrignano community in Northern Italy: it is characterised by geometric motifs in muted colors that express elegance and style.
In particular, the wallpaper’s graphics evoke the villa’s marble veins, lines of wood and tiles found around the house but Vito Nesta, who is a designer, art director, interior decorator and artisan, has proposed new colorways that rethink the motives.
Consequently, the wallpapers have a vintage flair and a typical Milanese touch, even if they are geometric and very contemporary.
An elegant collection dedicated to the splendor of past architecture.
