LEF – your digital revolution, DEGW designs the new headquarters for innovation

In San Vito al Tagliamento (Pordenone) DEGW, a brand of Lombardini22 group dedicated to the design of workplaces, developed the extension of the headquarters of LEF – your digital revolution, the experiential training center born in 2011 from the joint venture between McKinsey & Company and Confindustria Alto Adriatico to provide manufacturing and service companies with the skills needed to achieve digital transformation.

The architects completed a project with strong personality, which is flexible and able to speak to the different users of the center: start-ups, companies, professionals as well as LEF employees and collaborators.

The new experiential space is specifically designed to focus on the potential of innovation and help build skills, retrain staff and accompany companies in successful digital transformation processes.

The 2,300 square meters are therefore developed as a real path of discovery, communication and meeting, declined according to three different moods, complementary to each other, and made consistent by a shared industrial and technological spirit and a widespread presence of green.

To welcome guests and staff there is the entrance square, which revolves around a spectacular metal and glass elevator and where the interior design is based on shades of gray; the exposed systems, the concrete effect, the container-effect boiserie, the decorative green, the LED wall and the lighting system together make up the urban style that characterizes the reception and the warm up area, a space designed for events and training, easily configurable according to the needs.

The same style can be found in the balcony that acts as a natural exhibition area, offering a privileged view of the double-height space where robots and new generation technologies are at work.

In the creative garden the “factory” mood wins, a playful and dynamic environment that facilitates creativity, free thinking and socialization. It is characterized by a mix of furnishings of different types and styles, such as cardboard elements, retro sofas with a domestic soul, brightly colored woven armchairs with a background of the extensive use of wood, the cement effect of the coverings and the container effect of the boiserie; finally, colorful silhouettes of wooden and laminated houses enliven the space and become functional niches to concentrate.

On the ground floor there is also the break area with colorful and flexible furniture with a strong industrial inspiration, which overlooks a terrace and the professional kitchen, conceived as another meeting place.

Finally, inspired by the New Retro concept, the style reserved for the operational areas on the second floor with closed offices and meeting areas: the delicate and elegant tone combined with the ergonomic design reflects the greater formality of the environment, which will be further implemented with a new co-working area currently being defined, which will instead have an informal and colorful tone.

Innovation and design, technology and flexibility: in the new LEF headquarters you can see the future.
