A special prize dedicated to the photos representing some of the symbols of architecture that have helped change the look of the city over the past ten years: in 2020 Matrix4Design in partnership with URBAN Photo Awards invites the photographers around the world to win the challenge of the New Buildings and represent the new, up-to-date tendencies of the project and the changes of the urban landscape.

URBAN International Photo Awards is a world wide photo contest promoted by dotART that sees every year thousand of partecipating pictures and hundreds of participants from all over the world; this year again it looks for talent and quality both among professional and amateur photographers.
In particular, the brand-new prize offered by Matrix4Design and dedicated to the New Buildings aims to enhance contemporary architectural photography, focused on new and super new constructions, on the brilliant minds of the starchitects, on the buildings that reshape the skylines of big cities and change the look of neighborhoods.
If you wish to enter the competition, you will only have to add the tag New Buildings (Matrix4design prize) to the Single Photos running in the category SPACES; pictures will be judged by Matrix4design editor Andrea Boni and by the photographer Federica Nardese, who will select a short list of the best photos and the absolute winner.
The winning photo will be displayed in the exhibition of URBAN winners and will be published in the photo book URBAN unveils the city and its secrets – Vol. 06, containing the best pictures of the 2020 edition of the contest.
In addition, the author will be hosted for two nights in Trieste, during Trieste Photo Days festival 2020, in order to attend the prize giving ceremony and Matrix4design will also publish an exclusive interview with the author.
