Milan Design Week 2018, what’s new at Ventura Lambrate

-

The 8th edition of  Ventura Lambrate, launched since 2010 and located in Ventura District, announces the next exhibitions for Milan Design Week (April 17-21), two main projects organized and curated by Organization in Design, Margriet Vollenberg and Fulvia Romogisa: Ventura Centrale, and the first edition of Ventura Future.

As its early beginnings, Ventura Centrale consists on a series of installations and projects presented by institutions, designers and creatives around Via Ferrante and for this year one of the displays will be showcased by the famous architect and designer David Rockwell in collaboration with SURFACE: an interactive installation blending the best of art and gastronomy named The Diner will consist on an interactive center for talks, relaxing lounge and a bar at night for parties and perfomances.

More presentations will be featured also in Milano Centrale within collaboration with Alissa Rees, Nitto, Asahi Glass, Eileen Fisher and many more.

On the other hand, Ventura Future first edition expresses a collective space for experimentation of contemporary art focused on futurism, where Italian high end recognized brands will expose the new launches and collections; in particular, two main locations The Loft and FuturDome will host the new creations.

As for the collections, just to name few of them, Federica Biasi in collaboration with Mingardo will be introducing the new products, Patricia Urquiola and Federico Pero in Liberty Palace will exhibit their new pieces for Editions Milano.

Moreover, as for FuturDome Prize, Atto Belloli Ardessi and Ginevra Bria will be hosting this occasion a contemporary disciplines prize aimed at discovering, recognizing and give support to a future generation of creators.

Ventura Lambrate is waiting for you.
