Outdoor cooking, RODA presents Norma by Rodolfo Dordoni

-

With Norma, the new outdoor kitchen designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, RODA ventures into the world of cooking, one of those great Italian pleasures.

Norma is a standout blend of elegant profiles and demanding performance in which elements can be combined in refined solutions, while the durable materials guarantee a lasting outdoor product – a typical feature for every RODA experience and reality.

Born from the collaboration with Ilve, a company that specialises in manufacturing professional kitchens for residential use, Norma is inherently modular and versatile; the independent structure makes it adaptable to a small outdoor corner or a large space with well-structured furnishing solutions.

The freestanding island, in the distinctive RODA Smoke tone, has an AISI 304 stainless steel sink unit with doors available also in Rust or Milk colors, that fits into the durable Lapitec® top with a textured finish; the space below can, on request, include a fridge.

The peninsula provides additional preparation space that can be extended to become a suspended counter for dining with the simple addition of a bar stool.

The gas cooker unit has triple crown and five gas burners, it is independent of the other kitchen components, with the option of fixed feet or wheels so it can be moved as desired and returned, if needed, to below the peninsula countertop; the space under the gas burner, with larch-wood shelves and a practical utensil rack, means everything you need is to hand; the optionals include stainless steel fry-top plates and wooden cutting boards that fit perfectly on the worktop.

Rodolfo Dordoni says:

Cooking is one of those everyday pleasures. We wanted to enrich the atmosphere we have always brought to outdoor living through our comprehensive product lines by adding an outdoor kitchen. Norma was designed with a truly Italian essence, exalting our passion for cooking and combining it with the practicality and quality of good design.”
