In September, on the occasion of the new “supersalone”, the Special Event promoted by Salone del Mobile.Milano in 2021, Superstudio will present an edition of rebirth and change, proposing a new format focused on several themes and a glance on new horizons, Made in Italy, Human Technologies, Women in design, digital and virtual are going to be the main topics.
Superdesign Show September Special Edition, a project by Gisella Borioli with the art-direction of Giulio Cappellini, will take place at well-known Superstudio Più in via Tortona 27, where the need of concreteness, innovation, lightness, sustainability, inclusiveness, interconnection arising in the year after the pandemic will transform the iconic spaces.
In the same days a spectacular event will be the opportunity to discover also the new venue of the Group: Superstudio Maxi in via Moncucco, a large, sleek and technological exhibition space immersed in the green of the Barona district, an area of Milan in total renovation.
The new Superstudio’s project for the Milan Design Week is a true r/evolution of the usual format made by theatrical installations and it is becoming closer to an art exhibition, rather than a fair: there will be a series of collective and individual thematic areas, each of them with one independent and competent curator.
Every section will tell a different story: the best of Italian and international design production, contemporary trends of outdoor and indoor lifestyle, a focus on feminine creative, a focus on upcoming designer and the attention on the icons of the 3rd Millennium.
