In Mantua Archiplanstudio has recently designed Effe Apartment, a project based on a small volume consisting of a unified interior space built in the past.
The volume, which contains the bed, shows some selective openings which allow visual relationships with the surrounding space and the washbasin is treated as a piece of forniture, while the closet is configured as a small textile system.
The walls maintain their stratification and the signs of different ages; in particular, the frames of the 80s, with the handles made of anodized aluminum, are preserved as an idea of beauty, which might be misunderstood today.
Therefore, Effe Apartment is characterised by a special touch, a sense of minimalism and elegance that makes this place unique.
