Twins, the “binary” light sculpture by Firmamento Milano

-

Twins is the name of the light sculpture designed by architect Michele Reginaldi for Firmamento Milano to be a reminder of the fact that the world is often divided into two: good guys and bad guys, East and West, right and left, attackers and defenders.

Starting from this concept, the light itself can be on top or on the bottom, on or off, but that duality can also become a whole when the elements merge into one single entity like the spheres that make up this lamp.

Actually, Twins lamp is characterized by separate bodies that are at once united by a nickel-plated or gilded metal ring. A perfect representation of the relationship between opposite poles.
