Gaudì, Matteo Nunziati and Flou present the bed inspired by the Catalan master

-

Designed by the architect Matteo Nunziati taking inspiration from Antoni Gaudì, the leading figure of Catalan modernism and the promoter of curves, the double-size bed Gaudí proposed by Flou is a tribute to wood, to the power of Nature and its unwitting ability to constantly create new shapes that cannot be classified.

The headboard, with removable covers in fabric, leather or Ecopelle, and footboard in heartwood, available in the finishes coffee oak and black varnished oak, are the result of precious artisan processes; they create a sort of sinuous framework ready to receive the textile upholstery.

The fabric appears to simply rest on the frame, embracing the wood and following the natural shapes; in reality it is the fruit of a complex and highly detailed design study, to produce a surface with no continuity and with visible stitching.

In conclusion, this procedure exalts the beauty of wood and gives the Gaudì bed a welcoming and deliciously exclusive appearance.
