At 2023 Milan Design Week, which will open in Milan in a few weeks, Bencore focuses on innovation and presents to the media and the international public Crystal, the new door/wall system in double glazing designed to furnish residential, contract and business spaces with an interior solution that perfectly combines design and functionality.
The double-glazing solution developed by Bencore comes from the combination of the honeycomb core of the iconic Lightben CC (available in all its color versions) with skins in glass to create a pioneering and hyper-performing new product. The concept, in fact, has not only a very important aesthetic and decorative impact on the spaces in which it is installed but at the same time it is a highly effective solution also in terms of security, brightness and privacy.
The honeycomb structure of Lightben CC core allows the passage of light from one side to the other of the wall, filtering and modulating it in terms of intensity and color. On the other hand, double glazing improves the heat and especially acoustic insulating performance of the environments in which this partition element is installed.
In addition to this, Crystal has the European fire certification Bs1 d0, resulting in a product fully suitable to stem and prevent the spread of possible fires so that to fully secure each space. To sum up, Crystal has some fundamental features that contribute increasing its value making it the perfect choice for designers: translucency, acoustic insulation and fireproof ability.
Last but not least, Crystal can be configured in wall, door or door/wall configuration, so that to fit the needs of each project. The thickness of the panels applied to the system is 28 mm and the maximum size of the panels is 1000X3000 mm.
